Bogdan Mista

With broken hearts, the family of Bogdan (Butch) Mista announces his passing at the St. Catharines General Hospital on August 12, 2022. Soulmate and true love of wife Gail for 48 years. Proud and loving father to daughter Helen and sons Matthew (Gail) and Christopher (Shannon). Cherished Grandpa to Lauren and Abigail. You brought so much joy to his life. Also left to mourn his passing are his siblings Ken (Paula), Kathy Konkle (Terry) and John (Brenda).
Butch was an employee of Canada Post, retiring after 50 years of service. He was not to enjoy his retirement for in 2020 he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson Disease. Additional health issues cut short his life.
Butch leaves behind many family and friends to mourn their loss, including his napping companion, Buddy.
Butch is resting at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland with visitation on Wednesday, August 17 from 2-4, 6-8pm. Funeral Service to take place at the chapel on Thursday, August 18 at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Vineland Cemetery.
The family has requested that all attending to please wear masks.
The family request memorial donations be made to Parkinson Canada or Lewy Body Dementia c/o Alzheimer Society, with sincere thanks.
