Carmen Azzopardi Obituary

Passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022, at Maple Park Lodge at the age of 94.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph and son-in-law Thomas Bowden. Loving mother of Jean Bowden and Joe (Donna) Azzopardi, cherished nana of Lisa (Glenn) Metcalfe, Mark Bowden, Joe (Courtney) Azzopardi and Adam (Michelle) Azzopardi and dear great-nana of Lauren, Jack, Avery and Zachary. Also survived by her sister Nina (late Joseph) Barbara, brother Alfred (Rose) Demicoli and her nephew and many nieces. Predeceased by her brothers Peter and Paul Demicoli and sister Frances (Ray) Vella.
Special thanks to her niece Shirley Cuda for her unending support, and Dr. Scher and the staff of Maple Park Lodge for their care and compassion.
Carmen loved cooking and cleaning and enjoyed helping others.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. There will be a graveside service at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in the spring. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
