Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 86. Much loved husband for 67 years to Rosaria "Sara" and cherished father to Angela (Mike Augurati) Costabile, Lydia (Norm) Look and Paul (Rosanna) Pagliaro. Loving Nonno of Santo (Kristina), Rosalie (Daniel), LeAnna (Eric), Daniel, Sara (Adam), Ashley (Anthony) and Alexandra, and dear great Nonno to Valentina, Mario, Guiliana, Sebastian, Jordan, Grace, Dante, Ophelia, Noah, Laylah, Mila, and William. Survived by his siblings Rosa (late Carmen) Domanico, Vincenzo (Mary) Pagliaro and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tony worked for many years at INCO, retiring after 38 years. He was an active member of the Italian Canadian Cultural Centre and had a love for nature, gardening, wine making and was a prominent breeder of singing canaries. His love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren will be forever in our hearts. He was a wonderful father and husband and a pillar of strength to his family. The Pagliaro family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held following the visitation at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 375 Main Street West, Port Colborne at 1 p.m. with Father Peter Walton as celebrant.
