Clara was a remarkable woman. She was the most hard working, generous, and friendly person one could ever find.As a member of the Welland Ukrainian Mandolin orchestra which she dearly loved, she was a valued player and played a major role in prolonging the life of that group for the final 22 years of its existence. She was the guiding light that kept the perogie makers going at the Ukrainian labor temple.
She was much loved and respected and will be sorely missed by all.

I have fond memories of Clara from the Welland Ukrainian Labor Temple. The bonds she created and fostered with Ukrainian history in Canada. I always loved saying hello and the amazing concerts and food.

I was shocked to hear of the sudden passing of dear Clara, she was the sweetest lady. I met her at the hall making perogies, she made delicious lunches for us. She had a heart of gold.
