David HAWMAN Obituary

Passed away to glory at the age of 66 on January 25, 2021. David was predeceased by his parents Harold and Joan Hawman and leaves behind his siblings , Suzanna (Dave), Ruth (Norie), Stephen, Richard (Cindy), Anna-Jean, Mark (Sheila) , and Jon (Kerri) . David also leaves behind 28 nieces and nephews and northern cousins who loved him dearly . David was born in the Nippissing District and along with family moved to St. Catharines where he graduated from St. Catharines Collegiate with honours. During his high school years he began to play drums extremely well and met wonderful people through music and we also have many memories of his conversations of Rush Limbaugh who he would listen to quite often. David will be missed by so many. "God shall wipe away every year from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow."

I miss my brother every day. How I wish he was still here. Thank-you Helen for such an awesome memory of him in typing class.
He was such a good drummer and a thinker.

I WAS DEEPLY DEVASTATED to read about DAVID'S DEATH, please accept my condolences. i knew about his death soon after he passed away i met DAVID some time ago at his mother's apartment (JOANNE)here in this building. It has been along time, but our family grew up with the Hawman family. My brother Bill Copeland was a good friend of Dave and Steven. I also new Dave and Steven from school and Bill. I am Debbie Copeland York and my sister is Kathy Copeland Smelle. I am so sorry for your loss and he has gone way to soon. Dave was a great guy.

David was a fellow musician friend back in the Collegiate days. My condolences to the whole Hawman family on his passing. Our hope was always large. I think of you all often while I continue a life of music here in Latvia. RIP Dave. You were a cool kid. Tommy Bartley
