Dominic Interisano Obituary

With angels carrying him on to his final journey, it is with profound sadness that the family of Dominic Antonio Interisano, in his 90th year, announce his passing on Saturday, October 23, at St. Catharines General Hospital. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Shirlee (nee Prioli) and his sons Joseph (Lorri), Michael (Bari), Marc (Cheryl), Vince (Allegra) and Stephen (Janet).
He was an extremely proud grandfather who will be deeply missed and always remembered by his grandchildren, Monica (Brad), Theresa, Justin and Nicholas. He is survived by his sisters Nellie, Cathy, Josie (Emile). He was loving uncle and will be missed by countless nieces and nephews. Dominic was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Maria Interisano, brothers Sam, Frank, Angelo, John (Ruth) and sister Mary.
He was a family man who provided for and valued this above all. He and Shirlee enjoyed the company and friendship of lifelong friends with whom we are thankful for contributing to making their life happy.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family burial at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery.
The Interisano family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Niagara Health Centre- St. Catharines Site for the care and kindness they provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Niagara Health Foundation, supporting the Walker Family Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Aunt Shirlee and Cousins, We are deeply saddened for your loss and will keep you in our prayers for calm and peace. May the joys of remembering the adventures and love you shared with Dominic sustain you in the days ahead. Uncle Dominic was gracious and thoughtful, and his grandnieces and grandnephews enjoyed their visits with Uncle Dom and viewing his Elephant collection and especially his delicious peanut butter popcorn. He was a blessing for many people.
