STANEKOVIC, Dragica Passed away peacefully at 8 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Stevan Stanekovic (1993). Dearly loved mother of Rade (Milica) Stanekovic, Petar (Milica) Stanekovic, Marko (Nedeljka) Stanekovic, Simo Stanekovic and Mile Stanekovic. Cherished grandmother of Darija, Dario, Milko, Nena and Mile. Dear sister of Milica (the late Milan) Ranilovic. Predeceased by her brother Simo Bijelic, and her parents Djuro and Kata Bijelic. Lovingly remembered by many relatives in Canada and Serbia. Friends and family are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Pomen will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Lundy's Lane Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Stanekovic, donations may be made to the St. Ilija Serbian Orthodox Parish, and would be appreciated by her family.
