Frank MICHITSCH Obituary

With heavy hearts the family of Frank Michitsch Jr. announces his peaceful passing on Sunday July 25, 2021 on his 81st birthday. Loving and devoted husband of 58 years to Lucy (nee Lawrence). Beloved father of Cathy Mitchitsch, Rick (Frances) Mitchitsch and Sandra (Scott) Hayes. Cherished grandfather of Matthew Mitchitsch and step-grandfather of Jackson Hayes. Dearly loved brother of Herbert (Carol) Mitchitsch, Victor (Carol) Mitchitsch and brother-in-law of Rose Mary and Irene. Predeceased by brothers Henry 'Hank' and Larry Mitchitsch. Frank will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Frank's generosity of spirit, kindness and his laughter will be dearly missed. His passions included hunting and golfing, and he will forever be missed on the golf course. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Frank. In keeping with Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls. My father and Frank worked together building the Seagram tower, I have known Frank since I was a kid and remained friends ever since. My sincere condolences to Lucy and his family.

My sympathy to the Michitsch family. Frank and I golfed in the Niagara Golf Club leagues and he was always fun to be around, I also know Frank to be a dedicated husband and father. Frank will always be fondly remembered as $5 Frank for his prowess on winning closest to the hole.

To the Mitchitsch family, so very sad that Frank went to sleep in Death. I have been friends with the Mitchitsch family for many years and there family has so many beautiful memories in my book of life. Frank grew up at the HALFWAY and you could not grow up in better place. So when we lose a friend it means a lot to us who grew up there. May the family and the Sibling of Frank remember his and your good times with Frank and may that put a little joy in these hard times.
