Frederick PERRIN Obituary

PERRIN, Frederick Harry (Freddie) We are saddened to say Harry passed away peacefully surrounded by all his children by his side at the Hamilton General Hospital on October 20, 2019, in his 76th year. Loving and devoted father to Martyn, Karen, David (Melissa) and Lindsey Benincasa (Domenic). Cherished Papa to Brian, Kayla, Christa, Haydn, Caitlin and a very special Pappy to Gabriel. Harry was born in Birmingham England and raised in Northern Ireland `A Shankall Boy`. In 1979 he moved his family to Canada and settled down in Port Colborne. Harry is survived by his brother Brian (Rae) Smyth, sister Dorothy Milligan, sister-in-law Nell Reid and all their families in Northern Ireland. Brother-in-law Stephen (Carole) Reid and their family of Scotland and his cherished Scottish friends so dear to his heart. Harry was predeceased by his loving wife Marion (2015), his parents and wee niece Charlene Smyth. Harry (Freddie) spent most of his life in the marine industry where he met many colleagues and friends that he talked about with fond memories. Special friends that he respected dearly are Hans (Ally) Frenchie, Joe and Red. A private family interment to follow at a later date. The family wish to give many thanks to the medical staff and especially Dale and Nikko his nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital for their outstanding compassion and professionalism during our father's care. Life is not defined by what you bring, but rather by what you leave behind. May the footsteps you take today with mom be as beautiful as the ones you and mom left behind.
