Garrett BENDIA Obituary

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the age of 38. Much loved and missed by his parents Mike and Linda, brother Andrew (Nicole), nephew Isaac, partner Kirbi Simpson and her children Zivi and Qewyn Schaffer. He will be forever missed by his Aunt Barb (Danny) Lamontagne, Uncle Dave (Barb) Bendia, Aunts Nancy Gondocs (Bob), Susan Ranger, Gayle (Bill) Kadwell, Great-Aunt Joyce Augustine, several cousins, and many friends including his closest friend, Eric Olm. Predeceased by his grandparents Clyde and Esther Bendia and Don and Jean Crapo. Garrett loved playing golf, had a great appreciation for music, and had a tremendous ability with any technology. His kindness and love for others was felt by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Port Colborne and Guelph General Hospitals for their care and support. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. There will be a private burial of cremated remains at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be announced at a future date.
