Gary BURGER

Passed away surrounded by the love of his family, at the Welland Hospital, on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Laura for 56 years. Loving father of Paul (Tracey), Craig and Derek (Bev). Cherished grandfather of Travis, Jasmine, Mikayla, Jesse, Emma, Ethan, Kamana, Jade and Rael. Great grandfather of Avery, Jayden, Elijah and Jonah. Father in law of Karen. Gary is survived by his brother Ken (Margaret) and his sister Marjorie. He is predeceased by his parents Orval and Ella Burger, his grandson Kory, his brothers Basil, Carl, Orval, and his sister Marilyn. Gary will be lovingly remembered by family, many friends, and all who knew him. Gary was employed with Canada Forging as a machinist for 32 years. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, September 9th from 6 - 8 p.m. A private interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
