George CSUKA

Of Wainfleet passed away at the Welland County General Hospital on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Clare (née Mackler), loving father of Beth (Tim) Fulbrook and John (Jennifer) Csuka, dear grandfather of Carlie (Mike), Mike (Cassie), Madison (Teagan), Max (Madison) and Sam, great-grandfather of Blayke, Nevaeh, Jack, Ben Leo, and Willow, brother of Irene Cook (the late George). He was predeceased by his parents John and Stella Csuka. He worked at Page Hershey (Stelpipe) for 36 years from where he retired. He was involved with many organizations including Marshville Heritage Festival, the OMHA (Convenor), the Wainfleet Library Board, St. Elizabeth's Parish Council and many others. George loved to attend all his children and grandchildren's sporting events. George will be missed on the sidelines. The family would like to thank the staff of Rapelje Lodge for all their support and kindness. The Csuka family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, 31924 Highway 3, Wainfleet on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Wesley Woloszyn as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Morgan's Point Cemetery, Wainfleet. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be monitored, and face masks are required. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society.
