George McINTEE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Franco) (2010). Cherished father of Melissa (Patrick) Wigglesworth and grandfather of Tristan and Noah Wigglesworth. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family, especially Terry (Linda) McKenzie and Brenda (the late Michael) McKenzie. George loved fishing, swimming, and model trains - but most of all, spending time with his grandsons. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 7 to 9 pm. Interment will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, where he will be reunited with his beloved wife. In memory of Mr. Mclntee, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society and would be appreciated.

I grew up with George in Stamford Centre back in the 1950s. A good person. Condolences to his family.

Oh Melissa...I'm so very sorry to hear about Uncle Georgie. He and Mom were so close and he was always very good to me. Breaks my heart Missy but he will be with Aunt Barbara again...the love of his life. I remember when I was little and we went to visit your Mom and Dad...Aunt Barbara always looked so beautiful...almost regal...like a porcelain doll and she had the prettiest smile. Uncle George was always so proud to have her by his side.
Take care Missy and maybe we will cross paths again one day....I live outside of Peterborough now.
I would have loved to go to his funeral but I don't believe I can make it.
