Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Elvira Luongo (2003). Dearly loved father of Mario Luongo, Nick (Amy) Luongo, Angie (Ron) DeCaria, Jerry Luongo, Sam (Carla) Luongo and Anna (Angelo) Ventresca. Cherished Papa of Amelia, Nicole, Nathan, Nina, Stephanie, Joseph, Alanah, Gabriella, Kory, Julia, Melissa, Jenna, Jared, Christina, and Natalie. Dear brother of Vince of Niagara Falls and sisters Angelina and Rosina of Italy. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement for facemasks, social distancing, proof of double vaccination (with government-issued identification) and pre-booked appointments, friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. PLEASE NOTE, OCCUPANCY LIMITS WILL APPLY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
