Giovanni "Gino" VISCA

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday January 15, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 66 years to Maria (nee Cavaricci) and devoted father of Mario (Leslie) Visca, Anna (late Leo) Persia, Sam (Rita) Visca, Vittoria (Donald) Wikston and Tony Visca. Loving Nonno to ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Gino was 21st of 24 siblings. Cherished by surviving brothers Angelo (Angela) Visca of Niagara Falls, Antonio (Maria) Visca of Italy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gino was a larger-than-life personality. His greatest gift was being a 'Nonno'; a role that he served best. He was a passionate bowler, gardener, and winemaker. He never hesitated to give a bottle of wine to everyone he met. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday, January 20, 2023, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, with Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
