Giuseppe SCARINGI Memoriam
In loving memory of the most wonderful husband, father
and grandfather who passed away 26 years ago, July 1, 1996.
Time moves on, twenty five years have passed
Since death its gloom, its shadow, cast
Within our home, where all seemed bright,
And took from us our shining and guiding light,
We miss that, light, and always will,
His vacant place there is none to fill.
No one knows how much we miss you,
No one knows the bitter pain
We have suffered since we lost you
Life has never been the same.
In our hearts your memory lingers,
Sweetly tender, fond and true.
There is not a day, dear husband, father, Nonno,
That we do not think of you.
His smiling way and pleasant face
Always so good, gentle and kind
None to us his equal we will find.
Honourable and upright in all his ways,
He had a kindly word for each
Loyal and true to the end of his days.
And died beloved by all.
So blessed that God picked you for all of us
You will always be loved, cherished and never forgotten.
Some day we hope to meet him,
Some day, we know not when,
To clasp his hand in the better land,
For up in heaven we will meet and never part again.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed,
your children Vito, Jimmy (Lucy), Tony (Maria), Jerry (Antoinette), Linda, all your grandchildren and great-grandchildren
