DENNIS, Glenn Winstanley June 7, 1946 - St. Catharines, ON October 25, 2018 - Calgary, AB It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Glenn Dennis, beloved husband of Cathy, on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Glenn was born and raised in St. Catharines where he met the love of his life Cathy. He graduated from Ryerson University. Glenn and Cathy were married in 1968 and lived in Toronto for six years before moving to Calgary in 1974 to raise their two girls. Glenn loved being in the outdoors, reading the newspaper, being our Mr. Fix-It, travelling, volunteering, and most of all spending time with family. Many happy memories were made at the family cabin at Gardom Lake. He was an active member of the St. Michael Catholic Community. Glenn was a humble, devoted family man, who will be dearly missed. Besides his loving wife Cathy, Glenn is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Neil Zacher, and Arlene and Paul Dever, all of Calgary; grandchildren, Carina Zacher, Jordan Zacher, Sage Dever, Ryerson Dever, and Teala Dever, all of Calgary; siblings, Sandra Easby, Barb and Mike Tedesco, Judy and Jerry Botko, Don and Sue Labatte, and Ann Labatte; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Glenn was predeceased by his parents Paul and Jean; brothers-in-law, Norm Hubbard, Joe Easby, and Rick Labatte. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Community (800 - 85th Street S.W.) on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Church.
