Dear Mrs. Hiebert and Family, We were so very saddened to learn of Mr. Hiebert's passing. Uniforms with the name Jake's Chip Wagon have been worn by our players for decades as your family have been such long time sponsors of our league. We remember his visits to the diamonds just to watch the teams play ( he always requested a schedule for each season). We always looked forward to our end of the year banquet where you would both attend. Such true community supporter. Sending our deepest condolences. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Sending love to the entire family. Jake was such a wonderful man. My grandfather Ralph worked alongside him many years, and I remember spending a lot of time at the chip wagon with both of them. Take care, and reminisce in the fond memories youve shared.

Always appreciated running into Jake (Sr) at Grace Mennonite. I was at their home for a visit (pre-COVID). Always a hearty laugh, a funny story and a wonderful connection.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jake's passing. I worked at Niagara Medical Group until I moved out of town and enjoyed Jake's chips from time to time. They were as good as they were when I was down there on Thurday evenings as a teen. My deepest sympathy

I met Amy and Jake at the Chip Truck, these many years ago and from there we developed a extremely fun working and friendship relationship via City Hall. Jake's sense of humour and seriousness could not be outmatched....he was a fine person.
