JACQUELINE READ Obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our Jacqueline Emily.
Jacquie is survived by her son Avery (8), her parents Janice and Wayne, her brother Jeff (Sydney, Devin), Grandparents, Frances and John Read, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of our family. She is predeceased by her grandparents John and Janice Buck
Jacquie was much loved and was a terrific mother to Avery when he arrived 8 years ago. Jacquie graduated from NCDSB Secondary, and successfully completed a medical assistant program. Jacquie will be hugely missed by all as we cherish loving, fond, wonderful, funny and surprising memories of her.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in Jacqueline's honour at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. If desired, donations to the Lincoln County Humane Society in Jacquie's memory would be appreciated by her family.

I just heard the news about Jacquie this afternoon.
I was one of Avery's educators while he attended childcare. Jacquie left such an impact on me throughout the 2 years I worked closely with her in regards to Avery's development. I have memories of us chatting away in my office. I even have photos she sent me of Avery, on his first day of school. I am in shock to hear of her passing, and so greatly, and deeply saddened. I just thought of her 2 days ago, and was re living some of our memories, and to find out this tragic news, is heart-wrenching. To say that Jacquie was a devoted, and loving mother is an understatement. She didn't do anything without thinking of little Avery before making a decision. She ALWAYS wanted what was best for him, and would stop at no-length to ensure all his needs were always met, and then some. I am sending all my love and condolences for the entire family. I cannot imagine the pain you are all suffering. Please know that Jacquie and Avery will always have a special place in my heart. I am so, so sorry.
