James Kidd Obituary
Surrounded by love, James passed at the St. Catharines General Hospital on November 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Heather. Cherished father of Alana (Brian) Boles and Neville (Marianne) Kidd. Proud grandfather of Brandon, Jared, Dylan, Lauren, Xander and Nicole. Sadly missed by his sister Barb (Roger) Prince and Mac (Claudette) Burwash as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Alec, Peter and Jean.
A veteran with over 20 year's service, Jim continued to protect the country as an Immigration Officer at the Peace Bridge for 18 years. A proud member and Past Master of Palmer Masonic Lodge 372 AF&AM as well as Legion Br. 71 in Fort Erie. Jim served in a variety of community organizations including past President of the Lions Club. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed travelling and spending time with his grandchildren while camping for over 40 years at Byng Conservation.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday Nov. 26th from 6-8 p.m. A Masonic Service will take place at 6 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11am, with a Celebration of Life at the Ridgeway Legion following at 1:30 p.m. The family is asking that those in attendance come fragrance free. All are reminded that Covid 19 protocols including mandatory Masking and Social Distancing will be in place. Detailed information available at www.bennerfuneralservices.ca. If making a contribution in lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you consider the general fund at Br. 71 of the Royal Canadian Legion.

We couldn't make it to the funeral home, Heather, but our Thoughts were with you . We pray that God will help you & the kids be comforted in knowing Jim is in a much Better place.

Sorry for your loss. I worked along side Jim as a CBSA Officer at the Peace Bridge. He was a true gentleman that everyone looked up to. God Bless.
