I met John not long after I moved in Ontario through my mom and Robert who have known him for many years. I was always baking banana bread and making sure John had a loaf for himself to enjoy. He always appreciated that. He was so sweet and kind. Thank you John for everything that you did for my mom and Robert. R.I.P Bud you are missed

Speaking on behalf of the members of the Decew Gun Club I would like to say that we are genuinely saddened by John's passing at far too young an age. He was a member for several years and was an active participant and valued contributor to the club, frequently helping with maintenance and providing many good suggestions for making the club a better facility. We will greatly miss his presence there.
Out sincerest sympathies are extended to John's family and friends at this very sad time.

I was shocked to learn of John's passing. He was a unique individual who always livened the conversation at our weekly dinner which was suspended because of Covid-19. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
