June 16, 1950 - May 16, 2023
On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, Wayne passed away at his home in St. Catharines at the age of 72. Dear brother to Jeff (Ruth) Lawryk. Loved and cherished uncle to Scott, Jamie (Dena) and Robyn Lawryk. Great-uncle to Arthur and Oliver Lawryk. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Florence Lawryk. Wayne was a truly gifted artist and musician. He was a member of the popular local band, The KIDDS, in the late 1960s; and an employee of the City of St. Catharines for decades. Affectionately known as "The Bear", family and friends were everything to Wayne. He will be sorely missed by those that knew him. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC (905) 682-0474. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to a Charity of Your Choice in Wayne's honour would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences may be made at www.passfieldmortuary.ca

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing...I crossed paths with john when he worked at the "Jack". Always helped me out with anything and everything that I needed while I was doing " The Hockey / Lacrosse Thing"...He was one of the Good Ones I'd say!!...My thoughts and prayers are with The entire Lawyrk family at this time....God Bless Johnnie Boy...RIP!
