Julius TURI Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 96.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose (2001) and son Mark.
Beloved grandfather of Caitlin Turi and Elena Turi and step-grandfather of Gaelle and Kevin. Cherished great-grandfather of Kenton and Charlotte and great-step-grandfather of Andrew, Kerrick, Cullen, Keira, Katy, Lilly, Navenn, Matias and Sascha. He leaves behind his sister Helen Sekel and nieces Judy (Doug) Hummell, Sharon (Calvin) Pesant and Nancy (Graden) McLeod. Julius was an avid golfer and long time member of the Port Colborne Golf and Country Club. He swam every day at the local YMCA pool and travelled on his own, well into his 90's. He will be missed by family and his many friends worldwide.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. There will be a private burial of cremated remains at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the YMCA.
