Kathleen JONES

Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 100 years of age. Kaye Jones, retired Chief Librarian Port Colborne Public Library. Daughter of the late Truman and Ethel Jones and sister of the late Shirley Jones. She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins from Toronto, Barrie and throughout Canada. Kaye was a member and secretary of the Welland Historical Society, Niagara Branch Ontario Genealogical Society. Former member of the Ontario Library Association and the Canadian Library Association. A member of the University Women's Club of Welland. Charter member of Wesley United Church. Graduate of Mount Allison University, Sackville NB and the University of Toronto. Family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, September 1, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. when a service will be held in the chapel. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Cemetery. Memorial Donations in Kaye's memory may be made to Wesley United Church.
