Kimberley Wall Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberley (Kimmer) Anne Wall. On December 26th, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer Kimmer passed peacefully, surrounded by lots of love at McNally House Hospice. She is predeceased by her parents, Donna (2012) and Nick (2013). Loving sister to Pam Venus and proud aunt of Aidan and Karsyn. Kimmer always said, 'It Takes A Village' and she will be forever missed by the special group of friends and family that she assembled and called her Village. Kimmer was a member of many leagues and clubs including; The Jordan Lions Club, Jordan 3-Pitch League, Plamor Bowling, and Fugly's Shuffleboard. She loved to frequent her favourite watering holes; Puddy's, TJ's (Pitcher's), Fugly's, the Green Valley and Armstrong's where she enjoyed her Bud lights or Rum & Diets, and made many lasting friendships. She loved her cat Bud, the Toronto Maple Leafs, golfing and sitting on her back porch with KK on the radio and watching the world go by. She shielded her heart of pure gold under a rough exterior and always had your back. She will be dearly missed by her huge village. Kimmer was an insurance underwriter with Travelers Canada for the past 5 years, after beginning her career with Young's Insurance Brokers, making lasting friendships all along the way. A special thank you to the staff of McNally House Hospice for the amazing care and respect given to Kim during her stay. They could get a smile out of her even during some most difficult times. Kimmer has fund raised for McNally House for many years via The Devil Open Golf Tournament, named for her mom. When she recently arrived at McNally, Kim rallied her Village into action and raised nearly $13,000 during her brief stay there. In lieu of flowers, please honour Kimmer's wishes and visit mcnallyhousehospice.com to make a donation in her memory. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In the words of Kimmer, "It takes a village" "What doesn't kill you makes your drink stronger". Cheers.

How do you say goodbye to such a big hearted friend
Kim was always happy and had a great laugh
Five years ago the Mackey family joined the Devils open golf tournament to raise funds McNally house.
Our son Damion pass away there and I can assure you that nothing can compare to the care and compassion for the entire family.
We have raised over 40 thousand dollars, unfortunately due to covid the tournament did not run this year.
We did change the name to Devil-Angel open
How fitting that Kim passed at McNally house, she will be sadly missed
Rest in peace our friend

I often met Kim in our work kitchen grabbing a coffee and when I would ask her how things were going she always replied "living the dream" which always made both of us laugh. No matter how difficult things were going at work Kim always had a positive attitude and was always cracking jokes. All her co-workers @ Travelers will miss her dearly.
