I'll never forget that first day of grade 2: I had no clue where I was supposed to go to find my classroom, so I lined up with the grade 1 kids when the bell rang. Mrs. Gorham came out searching for me and I was relieved to have such a nice new teacher. I was lucky to have Lynda as my teacher for 4 years. She was a wonderful woman, and I think of her often.

My best friend for over 58 years. The times we had! I will never forget our adventures at Brock or those awesome adventures during our trip to Europe. Getting trapped in the ruins in Herculenium was priceless and scary. Rest in peace, mea semper amica.

My condolences to Lynda’s family. She was my teacher way back as Miss Labatt for grade 3 at John Marshall school. She was then my teacher again for grade 4 as Mrs. Gorham. I recognized her photo here immediately as I have always remembered her. She was a very good teacher and a very sweet lady. May she Rest In Peace
