Margaret FAULDS Obituary

FAULDS, Margaret (nee Pinnons) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early hours of March 31, 2018 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband William Wesley Faulds (1992). Loving mother to Brenda Valliant (Ches) of St. Catharines, Linda (Lindy) Lawrence of Port Credit, Glenn (Maureen) of Fenwick and Randy of Boca Raton, Florida. Dear grandmother to Shane Valliant (Anthony), Shannon Valliant (Gianfranco), Sandra and Carly Faulds. Survived by her brother Harold of Great Britain, her son-in-law Michael Valliant and her dear friend Sasha Valliant. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends both here in Canada as well as Ireland. Born in N. Ireland, Margaret came to Canada after the war and lived most of her life in the Niagara Region. Our family is blessed to have shared our lives with such a kind, gracious, beautiful lady whose passion in life was her family. She was incredibly warm and giving and even in her final years, she maintained her spirit and was pure joy to so many. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Heidehof Home for the Aged in St. Catharines for all the care and love they showed her each and every day. Margaret's family is honouring her request for cremation and her cremated body will be laid to rest with her late husband in Arkona, Ontario. Our lives will never be the same. There will always be an empty place, where once there was the warmth and unconditional love only a mother can give. In our hearts and memory forever.
