Born April 27, 1925, age 97, she is predeceased by her husband of many years, Arthur. Passed peacefully at Valley Park Lodge, on October 9, 2022, at the age of 97. She is survived by her sons Richard (Wendy) and Grant (Wendy); grandchildren Jennifer and Michael (Alicia), Craig (Cherie), plus great grandchildren Rachel, Owen, Jack, Tim, Karizma, Kieran, and Kara. Lorraine was raised on the Saskatchewan prairie with eight other MacNaughton brothers and sisters: Wayne, Roger, Jack, Donald, Allen, Ruth, Carole, and Jean. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Often, she would tell stories about challenges and difficulties the family faced during the depression era and how they coped; valuable life lessons about "grit" for all that heard them. She met and married her husband Arthur there and they moved to Niagara Falls, where they raised their family. For many years, Lorraine worked in the M.A. Kent store on Queen Street in Niagara Falls and was an active and enthusiastic member of Lundy's Lane United Church. She was a kind, loyal and trusted friend to those in her church, her neighborhood and beyond, and was a kind, loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by all of her family and beyond. We thank her for what she gave us and all that she did; we pray that the Lord blesses her soul. Visitation will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Wednesday, October 12th from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Memories, photos, and condolences may be shared at
