Marija Grubic

It is with great sadness the family of Marija Grubic announce her passing at Garden City Manor on Friday, December 30, 2022 in her 97th year. Marija leaves behind her sons Martin (Vlasta) and Ivan (late Rozika) Pangercic; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Antonia Zorz, Angela Stanic and Franc Ostrbenk; Marija was predeceased by her siblings: Terezija, Mihael, Josefa, Ivan and Stefka. Marija will be missed by all her extended family in Canada and Europe. The family wish to acknowledge the great care Marija received by the nurses and staff at Garden City Manor over the years. In accordance with Marija's wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family invites guests for a time of gathering from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with vigil prayers at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2023 with a Funeral Mass following Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines with a burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
