Mary Frances BRETTLE

Passed away peacefully at Bella Senior Care on Wednesday November, 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late John Shaw Brettle. Dearly loved mother of Lenora (Scott) Hanwell, John (Elizabeth) Brettle, and Jerome "Jerry" (Line) Brettle. Cherished grandmother of Robert Leo, Conlan James, Zachary (Heather) Nathanial, Mathius, Travis and Meagan. Dear sister of Albert Connolly, Elinor O'Neill, Anne Warmuth and the late Elizabeth Bond. Mrs. Brettle was an active volunteer in the community and was honoured by Niagara Concerts with a lifetime award for her service. She was also active in St. Thomas More Church where she was a member and Past-President of the Catholic Women's League. In her leisure time she enjoyed traveling with family and friends as well as playing bridge with her lifelong friends. Respecting the restrictions of Covid-19 including the requirements of face masks and social distancing, friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
