Mary Newhouse

Peacefully after a brief battle with Cancer on January 24th at St. Catharines General Hospital. Survived by husband of 44 years Larry, daughters Leann (Cory) Maynard, Ashley (Jarett) Hunt. Adoring Grandmother of Hayden, Callie, Ethan, and Owen. Also survived by her brother Danny (Linda) Degraw; and her fur baby Jake. Also survived by Brian, Barry, Linda, Cathy, Mike, Judi, Dave, and Terry; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents Harold and Mary, and siblings Rosemary, Darlene, and Paul. Mary had a great sense of humour, an infectious laugh, loved her bingo and going for rides. Mary's family will receive friends and well wishers on Monday, January 31st from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration Of Life will be held at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines (905)-937-4444 on Tuesday, February 1st at 11 a.m. In order to attend you must call the funeral home for a reservation. Double vaccination/ID is required and masks must be worn. At Mary's request cremation has taken place. If so desired donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
