Norval BARKWELL Obituary

Passed away at Albright Manor, on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the age of 92. Predeceased by his loving wife Lena of 64 years. Loving brother to Bud and sister-in-law Natasha. Predeceased by his siblings Emil (Eleanor), Glen (Isabel) and Lois Copeland (Robert) and Althea Munday. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their children and by his friends and neighbours in Niagara Falls and Muskoka. Norval enjoyed being an electrician all his working life and was extremely talented in repairing almost everything, which was appreciated by his neighbours when they encountered unexpected difficulties. Lee and Norval enjoyed many trips to many countries over the years and also their many family and friends gatherings. Norval built their cottage on Lake of Bays where for many years he was able to enjoy summer activities and snowmobiling in the winter. Norval will be buried in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Norland, Ontario with a family graveside service. If you wish, donations to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, GRIMSBY, 905-945-2755.

My late husband, Gary (Gedge) MacLean and I have known Lee and Nobby for many years. Our boys, Chris and Jeff spent many happy times with them. A lot of wonderful memories! Rest in peace Lee and Nobby.
