1926 - 2021

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 95. April 8, 1926 - May 3, 2021 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria Assunta nee Orsilli (2006). Loving father of Paul and his wife Tamra Colangelo of Etobicoke, Carmela Colangelo, Luigi and his wife Kimberlee Colangelo and Maria and her husband Mike Shaw all of Welland. Dear Nonno of Matthew and Martin (Louisa); Zackary (Jenn), Kaylee and Taz; and Victoria (Joe). Predeceased by his Father Luciano Paolo, Mother Carmela and sisters Maddalena, Giuseppina, Lorenzina, Saveria and brother Generosa and many family members in Italy. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the home care PSW support team. Especially to Maryann, Dad's little angel for the past 2 years, and to Cedrick, Leah, April, Celina, Alex, Herline and Sabine. Thank you also to the care and compassion of nurse Taylee on the 3rd floor of the St. Catharines General Hospital and to Pastor Marie Lallouet for her reverence and prayer at this difficult time. A special thanks also to Father Mulligan. A private visitation and funeral will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home in Fonthill.
