GLEDHILL, Peter It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter, peacefully and with his darling wife at his side on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. He was in his 85th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Ann for 65 years. Cherished father to Linda (Dave) Walker, Tony (Karen) Gledhill, Andrew (Julie) Gledhill and Andrea (Derek) Serianni. Special grandpa to Brett, Justin and Logan Walker, Melissa (Mitch) Galpin, Brad and Christine Gledhill, Isabel Gledhill, Carina, Jordan and Harley Serianni, and great-grandpa to Eric and Kyle Galpin. Peter will be fondly remembered by his loving extended family and many friends. His family would like to extend a special 'Thank You' to the staff and caregivers at Royal Rose Place in Welland for their compassion over the last number of months. Peter was known for his outstanding career as a hospital Pharmacist. He began at Toronto General Hospital, eventually becoming the Director of Pharmacy at Scarborough General. Later when he moved his family to Niagara he worked at Welland General and Shaver Hospitals, finishing his career at the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital. He very much enjoyed playing tennis and always appreciated the companionship he found with his tennis friends. In keeping with Peter's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME - 905-892-1699. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
