It is with heavy hearts and beautiful memories the family announce the passing of Peter Michaud on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 83 in the arms of his wife Patricia at home. Predeceased by his first wife Sally (1994). He leaves behind his wife Patricia and his little companion Mira. Loving father of Marie (Andy) Sheldrick of Huntsville, Shirley Michaud of St. Catharines and Karen Michaud of St. Catharines, and stepfather of Michelle McCabe of Ottawa, Darren (Shawna) McCabe of Trenton and Donald McCabe of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 8 and newest great-grandson born November 28th. Peter worked for Abitibi Paper for 25 years before retiring in 2004. Peter was the definition of great strength and wisdoms his fishing always sparked his soul. He was a generous kind person with a great sense of humour of which all his family and friends will miss. The family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Saturday, December 17th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, donations to Niagara Childrens Centre would be appreciated by the family.
