Quirico "Guido" CONVERTINI

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Queenston Place on Wednesday August 18, 2021, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Maria Mafalda (nee Pascuzzi) (2011). Dearly loved father of Angela, Anna (Bob) and John (Rachel). Cherished Nonno of Alexandra, Vanessa, Elizabeth (Jude) and Eric (Laura) and Great-Nonno of River. Predeceased by his sister Filomena (Oronzo) and his brothers Oronzo (Ida) and Pietro (Grazia). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Convertini was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Associazione Nazionale Combattenti e Reduci Niagara, as well as a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of the Scapular Church. He was an avid hunter and gardener and enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labour with others. He also had a love of music but his greatest passion in life was his family. Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff at Queenston Place, St. Elizabeth Health, ParaMed, Dr. Aidoo and Dr. Tannous for their compassionate care. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement for face coverings and maximum occupancy levels, friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
