It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Hesp on January 19, 2021 to be with his Lord and Saviour at age 58. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Durksen) of 30 years. Loving father of Natasha (Joshua) Mason, Trevor, Lauren and Elyse Hesp. Cherished son of Irene Hesp. Dear brother of Judi Hesp and Karlene (Cliff) Fletcher. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Harold Hesp. His faith in God and zest for life will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. A private service will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes on January 23, 2021 following interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. As a student I was fortunate to sit on a board Rob was president of and I looked forward to that opportunity once a month to see how he carried himself as well as the chance after to `pick his brain´ because he was always so gracious with his time.
I´m truly sorry for your loss and send my sincerest condolences.

I am saddened to hear of Rob's passing at such a young age. We sat together on the St. Catharines Conservative EDA for several years and I worked on his election campaigns. I always found him thoughtful and well spoken. He has left us far too soon.
My sincerest condolences to the family at this unfortunate time.
