Robert LASLO Obituary

Robert passed away peacefully at his home in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shirley Laslo. Dear father of Barbara (Lorne) Bjorgan, Donna (Jonathan) Laslo-White, Gary (Linda) Laslo and Patti (Kevin Mahu) Cavasin. Cherished Grandfather of Kristi (Khalil Williams) and Katie Bjorgan, Sarah and Ryan Cavasin, Matthew Laslo-White, Stephanie Purdy, Daniel and Justine Lamb, and Great-Grandfather of Iyla and Elin Williams and Benjamin Sproul. Robert was loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He was a geotechnical engineer at Acres International for 45 years and was an avid golfer, tennis, and softball player. Robert was dedicated to his family in every way and he will be sadly missed by all. A Memorial Service to celebrate Robert's life will be announced at a future date. My deepest heart felt condolences to all of Bob's family. Bob introduced me to the game of indoor Badminton when we were members of Acre's Badminton Club. I discovered that it was not the same as playing outdoors. I enjoyed working with Bob when we were employed at Acre's Laboratory Services.
