1943 - 2022
After a brief battle with cancer, Ronald Charles (Bop) Dunn has passed on June 10th at Port Colborne Hospital. Ron is fondly remembered by his son Tom and his wife Cathy as well as his greatest pride, his Grandsons James Ronald Dunn, and Jackson Gunnar Dunn. He was the oldest of his siblings; Mike Dunn (Mary Lou), Joan Bechard (Doug), Cathy Parent (Thom), Neil Dunn (Michelle) and John Dunn (Ianthe) as well as his In-laws Norma Jane (Blair Harber), Howie (Wilma Lowrey), Don (Pat MacDougall) and Eddie (Lonna Andrusiw) and many nieces and nephews. Ron graduated from the University of Windsor before beginning his career as an Engineer at General Motors on Ontario St for more than 45 years. He was also a lifelong member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Oldtimers Ambassadors hockey program and very active in Softball and Fastball throughout the Niagara Region. Ron now joins his loving wife Nancy Carol in eternal bliss. Arrangements have been entrusted to MORSE & SON Funeral Home 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls. As per Ron's wishes cremation has taken place. All are invited to join in a Celebration of Ron's life on Thursday, July 21st at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery from 4 to 7pm. To celebrate Ron's love of sports a Memorial Award has been established to annually support a member of the NOTL Minor Hockey program who is commencing post-secondary studies; additionally, the family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jumpstart program at jumpstart.canadiantire.ca
