It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Ron after a year of health issues. Ron leaves his beloved wife Joyce of 26 years with a broken heart. Father of Michael and Matthew. Brother of Marilyn Dawdy and Gary Hugar. Fondly remembered by his niece, Chrissy. Predeceased by his parents, Bud and Mary, and his twin brother, Roger. Ron worked at T.R.W. for 40 years. He was blessed to have enjoyed 20 years of retirement. He was most relaxed while fishing at Rice Lake. Thank you to the Nurses on the 4th floor at NHS-St. Catharines also to Dr. Jeremy Childs for the wonderful care and phone calls over the last year. In honouring Ron's wishes cremation has taken place. Very fond memories of Uncle Ronny pretending he was playing in the band and marching around and emulating the sound of drums, taking us to African Lion Safari, and he talked about trains all the time and gave us books 35+ years ago I still have. They both had everything to do with my love for weight training and following boxing and had this sarcastic way about them where it seemed they were giving you a hard time but you knew it was because they loved you and would've done anyhting for you if you asked. We drifted apart but that I"ll never forget! RIP Uncles

My condolences to all family members. Knew Ron, Roger, Ron Huard from all the good old days. When l moved to Ottawa in '67, Ron showed up at our apartment and we all went to Expo 67, he was such a gentleman but tough at the same time. Sorry to hear of his passing may he RIP. Karen
