Sara Belle BARRETT

BARRETT, Sara Belle 1929-2019 Belle passed away peacefully in her 91st year on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in the comfort of her home. Cherished and beloved wife of 60 years to the late Ward Barrett (2015). Loving mother to Laura Machinek (Heinz), Valerie Scutti (Carlo), Shelley VanHorn (Stephen), Chris Barrett (Diana), Jeremy Barrett (Sarah). Also proud and loving grandma of Natalie (Justin), Nathan (Cedar), Sonia (Brent), Brett (Carla), Adrian (Melanie), Cassandra (Mike), Jessica (Corey), Alex, Robyn and Kemuel along with great-grandchildren Eoghan, Rainer, Chiara and Levi. As the last of the Camp Family, predeceased by her six sisters and one brother, many of her nieces and nephews are also saddened by this loss. Belle was a long-time member of the Montebello Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and she lived her faith by setting a fine example of a Christian woman, wife and mother for all who knew her. Her generous spirit and compassion for people caused her to become a spiritual mother, daughter, sister and friend to many who were alone and had no family. Despite the disabilities of old age, she cherished her faith, her family and great many friends. The family wishes to express special thanks to her live-in care giver Erna Regula for over six years who gave her the dignity, love and respect she deserved along with the many other PSW workers who shared in her care. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 93 Moffatt Street, St. Catharines on Friday, September 27th at 7:30 p.m.
