It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheron Evelyn Albers (nee Rennie) of Niagara Falls, on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the age of 93 years young. She will lovingly be remembered by her daughter, Diane Knott, granddaughter, Jacquelyn Knott (Matthew) and great-grandson, Travis Farrell. Additionally, she leaves behind many close family and friends, as in these 93 years she has greatly touched the lives and hearts of so many. Sheron wanted to be remembered as a woman of strength and gentle kindness in the same moment. She reminded us often that she was grateful to have had a wonderful life; filled with love, joy and health. This was all made possible by family, close friends and colleagues throughout the years. Born in Niagara Falls as Sheron Evelyn Schaeffer, at the tender age of 14 she was adopted and raised by her loving older sister, Edna and her husband, Dave Rennie, following their mother's passing. Sheron is predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, Glen L. Albers, as well as her cherished son Glen D. Albers. Many knew Sheron from her 30 years of dedication as the Personnel Relations Administrator with the Ford Glass Plant in Niagara Falls, in which she was the first salaried employee hired in 1961. She went on to retire in 1991 and then proceeded to enjoy her winters in Sarasota, Florida with her husband until his passing in 2001. After Glen's passing, Sheron continued her spirit of life for another 21 years in which she was blessed to create many memories with new friends, partners and even welcomed a great-grandson. Sheron carried her vibrant attitude until her last moments, ensuring that we will always remember her love of life and the people who shared it with her. As per Sheron's wishes, cremation has taken place along with a private graveside ceremony with the support of Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A Celebration of Life will be shared with close friends and family in the coming months. If you wish to donate to a Society on Sheron's behalf, we ask that you please choose a charity close to your heart.
Love you Forever;
Diane, Jackie (Matthew) and Travis.
