HEISE, Shirley Frances Shirley Frances Heise, formerly Shirley Alguire (nee Dickenson) went peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 85 following a short hospitalization in Greater Niagara General Hospital. Daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Dickenson of Denfield, ON; cherished sister of Jim Dickenson of Denfield, ON and Ruth Francis of Tillsonburg, ON; and deceased brother Lawrence Dickenson of Ottawa, ON. Beloved wife of the late Robert Alguire and Arthur Heise. Dear mother of Bonnie D'Elia and her husband Perry, Wayne Alguire, and his wife Brenda (Krause), Karen Crawford and her husband Don, and Kirby Alguire and his wife Lora (Yoshida). Loving grandmother of Matthew-Jim, Jon-Daniel, Don-Paul, Sarah, Nathan, Meggan, Fraser, Colin, Minami, Takumi, and Kazumi. Great-grandmother of Mirella, Charlotte (deceased), Matthew, Evie, Joel, Isaac, Caleb, Flicker (deceased), Remy, and Neal. Shirley attended Normal School in London, ON and, during a short teaching career, met and married Robert Alguire. Betrothed for 48 years, they raised their family in the London, ON area before Robert's passing in June 2002. In June 2004, Shirley married Arthur Heise and they spent ten years together in London, ON and Virgil, ON until his passing in June 2015. Arrangements entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME , 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines. Shirley will be interred privately at Grove Cemetery in London, ON. A memorial service will be held in London, ON in the spring of 2019. If desired, memorial donations may be directed to Compassion Canada or the Greater Niagara General Hospital and would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
