Stephen Francescutti Obituary

1967 - 2022
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Hospice Niagara at the age of 54. Beloved son of the late Gino and Rosanna Francescutti. Loving brother of Bruno (Maria) Francescutti. Cherished uncle of Nicholas (Gabrielle) Francescutti, Thomas Francescutti, Julia Camilleri, and great uncle to Anthony Francescutti. Steve is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Steve had a love for cars and could be found often working under the hood of his 1970 Chevy. He enjoyed watching football, hockey, listening to classic rock, and reading. He also passed some of his time caring for his vegetable gardens. Steve will always be remembered by his kindness, politeness, and his willingness to always help others. Most important was Steve's family, whom he cared for and loved deeply, especially his two nephews Nicholas and Thomas. Steve will be missed deeply by his family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care, and to Dr. Lalani and his team at Juravinski Hospital. A Private Family Service will be held. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sincere sympathy, Bruno, to you and your family. Steve often stopped by my parents house on Highfield for a friendly chat. He was always joking around with everyone at the bowling alley, Wednesday mornings. Steve was a great guy and will surely be missed.
