Yvonne Holditch Obituary

June 23, 1953- May 22, 2020 After a difficult battle with cancer, Yvonne was called upon by the Father and reunited with her mother, Mary, and step-son, Ricky, as well as several other loved ones. Yvonne was the beloved wife of Richard; cherished mother of Tammy Sorko Kirsch (David), Phillip Sorko (Shawna), and Daniel Sorko; step-mother of Tammie Holditch; adored grandmother of Tyler, Alexandra, Karlee, and Aietch; treasured daughter of Lloyd; much-loved sibling of Kenneth, Audie, Wayne, Gail, Theresa, and April. Yvonne's passing also left a void in the hearts of her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends. Yvonne's family would like to thank her very special personal care-givers, the nurses from St. Elizabeth, Dr.Rycroft and her team, and the team at the Walker Family Cancer Centre. In lieu of flowers, at Yvonne's request, memorial donations may be made to the Jordan Station United Church - General Fund or the Walker Family Cancer Centre. A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at a later date.

It is so difficult to find words to express how saddened we are at Yvonne's passing and the pain that those closest to her must be suffering. Regretfully, we don't live closer and weren't able to share our lives with her and Rick and their families; nevertheless, we are so aware of what a wonderful wife, mom, step-mom, grandma, sibling, daughter and member of her church community she was. She touched so many people's lives and she will live on in the hearts of all of us....even her little dog, Hope, who shared her love as well.

Its hard to believe your gone, I miss you already. I will cherish all the memories growing up, All the good times we had and the laughs. You are one of the people in my life that always inspired me too be a good person, to be there for others if they need someone. I know I may not of said it to you but I looked up too, you where the type of person I wanted too be. You had a huge heart and you where always there for your family and friends when they needed you. You also weren't afraid to voice your opinion if you didn't think something was right and I totally respected you for that. I will miss you so much but I do believe we will be together again someday❤ Enjoy heaven and say Hi too all my loved ones up there. Ill love you forever and always.

I have known Yvonne for 20 years, we met through my husband Jim who has known her for 40 yrs. This just brings to light how the years have slipped away so fast. I will always remember our times of searching for bargains at the flea markets and garage sales. We will miss you Yvonne. The world will never be the same without you. Rest in Peace until we meet again.
