CRANFIELD
CRANFIELD, (nee Erickson) Jennifer Hazel December 5, 1944 – August 25, 2002 Jennifer Cranfield, beloved wife of Timothy Cranfield of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly, August 25, 2002, at the age of 57 years. As well as her husband Tim, she will be sadly missed by their two sons and their families: Eric and Kimberly Cranfield and their daughters Lauren and Megan, of Pickering, ON, and John and Jennifer Cranfield, of Guelph, ON; her parents Dr. Bill and Hazel Erickson, of Lethbridge, AB; seven brothers and sisters Louise Cook (Jim), of Minidoka, ID, Pat Erickson (Maggie) of Salt Lake City, UT, Carol Sherwood (Bob) of Chicago, IL, Barb Oliver (Scott) of Provo, UT, Tim Erickson of Edmonton, Scott Erickson (Susie) of Raymond, AB and Janele Pitcher (Grant) of Lethbridge; and many other relatives and friends. Jennifer was born in Lethbridge and lived in Edmonton, Stirling, Cardston and Waterton as a young woman. She attended BYU and married Tim Cranfield in 1965. Together they lived in Lethbridge, Edmonton and then Oakville, Ontario, prior to moving to Calgary in 1989. While Jennifer lived in many parts of Canada, her first love was the southern Alberta foothills. Jennifer was a warm, happy spirited individual who loved to laugh and enjoy life. She loved gardening and the outdoors. Jennifer was an avid crafter, photographer and collector of teddy bears and angels. She was a terrific wife and mother and will be held dear in our hearts forever. Family and friends are invited to visit at Pierson's Funeral Service, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE on Thursday, August 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heritage Chapel, 935 Heritage Drive SW, Calgary on Friday, August 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Gordon Murray officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Calgary Humane Society, 1323 – 36 Avenue NE, Calgary, T2E 9Z9 or the Distress Centre, #300, 1010 - 8th Avenue SW, Calgary, T2P 1J2.
