It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adele Lerner, beloved wife of Donald Lerner, mother of Joanne and Nancy Lerner. Adele was predeceased by her loving sister Edie Houzer and her brother Benjamin Shindman. Adele's brightest lights were her grandchildren Joshua and Talia Rotman. Adele was loved and admired by many dear friends and relatives. Elaine and Bunny Pike and her dear cousins Cecile and Joe Goldenberg and Barry and Merle Gross were very special to her her entire life. We would like to extend a very special thank you and great appreciation to the wonderful, caring medical staff at Mount Sinai Hospital - 17N. Dr. Joshua Levitz provided constant, caring and patient care not only to Adele but to her entire family. Graveside service Beth Tzedec Cemetery, Bathurst St., Toronto, 1 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012. Shiva following at 586 St. Clements Ave. Shiva concludes Tuesday evening.
