The family of Adelmo Melecci regret to announce his passing away on August 31, 2004 in his 106th year. He was a well known composer and teacher and is fondly remembered by his family and students. Survived by his daughters Gloria Anne Topping (Don), Sandra Chapman, and sister Olga Lordi, 4 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Karen Lordi, John and Betty Billes, Alice Kong, Milan Crepp, Pat and Dr. Nick for their kindness to Dad. According to his instructions there will be no funeral service or visitation. Private cremation. A memorial service will be held at Richmond Hill United Church, 10201 Yonge St. on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to Aster's Music School, Thornhill, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
