Agnes KORMENDY Memoriam
AGNES BUBIK KORMENDY January 13, 1925 - October 4, 2018 A loving, caring, loyal, giving, smart, motivated, resilient woman. A 1949 Hungarian refugee. She didn't need to fight for Women's Rights - she just went out and did it, with a career in the Niagara winery industry, and then as a microbiology researcher at the University of Toronto. She was born in Budapest and passed away in Budapest, but spent most of her life happily in Toronto, ON. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie and daughter Aliz. She is survived by her daughters Christie Kormendy Taillon of The Woodlands, TX (Mike) and Jen Kormendy of Tsawwassen, BC; grandchildren Justin, Jordan, Jasmine (Michael), Jameson, Reed, Ryley, and great-granddaughter Evelyn Collins; and numerous loved siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
