Alan Hanson Crabtree Q.C. (1923 2008) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Alan who died peacefully surrounded by family October 18 at the age of 85. He will be dearly missed by his son John Charles Crabtree, his daughter Dr. Ann Elizabeth Crabtree, his son in law Dr. Greg Storwick, grandchildren Vhari, Lauren, Michael and Thomas. He will be fondly remembered by his second wife Patricia Anne Snow with whom he travelled extensively and his stepson Chris Snow and his family. Alan will be dearly missed by his brother Peter and sister-in-law Bobbie of Crabtree Publishing, his nieces and nephew Marc, Carolyn, Andrea, Samantha, their families and sister in law Suzanne. Born on July 22, 1923 Alan was the middle son of Edith and Maurice Crabtree of Toronto. Pilot Officer Alan Crabtree ser ved in WWII, flying a Lancaster in Five Group with Bomber Command Squadron 189. Upon returning to Canada Alan attended Osgoode Hall class of 1951 and practiced law with his late father Maurice Crabtree, M.C., K.C. a WWI veteran. Alan was predeceased by his older brother Charles Maurice Crabtree who was killed in action in WW II, and lives on in family stories. Alan is also fondly remembered by Alice Crabtree, his first wife and mother of his children. Our whole family is very grateful to Victoria Lazaro and her family.
